Renowned winemaker Chris Carpenter learned his craft in the vineyards of California and Italy. Over time his expertise turned to the daunting but rewarding task of coaxing the best possible wines from California’s Mountain appellations. The resulting wines-La Jota, Cardinale and Lokoya among them-display the signature concentrated fruits that are the hallmark of high elevation sites with meager soils. Minimal intervention and careful blending techniques produce wines of breathtaking depth and opulence, praised by critics and sought after by serious wine collectors everywhere.
