Though classically trained as a violinist and an operatic tenor, Daniel Vu ultimately left music behind to pursue his passion for wine. He earned an MBA in the marketing and management of wine and spirits at INSEEC in Bordeaux. His first internship led to a role at VINEXPO, a wine industry exhibition company.
In 2007, an opportunity arose to become the Export Manager of a company he had long admired, Moët-Hennessey in Napa Valley. Daniel gained further experience as Riedel’s Director of West Coast Wineries before joining Heitz Cellar in 2011.
In his role as National Sales Manager, Daniel develops business and customer relationships throughout the country, managing Heitz Cellar’s distributorship with wholesale partners.
Daniel feels honored to be part of this legendary winery’s team. “Heitz is one of the wineries that still stands tall and shines bright as a historic Napa Valley legacy. It’s a piece of Napa’s history.”
